Renovating your home can be a stressful experience. My job is to take away that stress and turn your vision into a reality.
I bridge the gap between the client and the trades – from consulting with builders on materials such as internal doors, skirting, architraves, ironmongery and more, to collaborating with architects, engineers and bespoke trades on your behalf. This is all on top of designing and creating a comfortable and aesthetically pleasing interior that is tailor-made to your wishes.
I can also help with determining budgets, establishing timelines and ensuring flawless installations of materials and furniture. My role as the bridge between you and the trades means that snap decisions are made without stress, taking away any overwhelm you might feel.
From entire rooms in your home that need a refresh, to the smaller specifics such as storage solutions and types of flooring, no detail is overlooked.
“Our extension and refurbishment project was not an easy one, I’ve even got architects to follow up the bits and pieces. I’m glad that we have Elaine to handle the interior design of the entire 5-bedroom house and project management on the related stuffs — sourcing of furniture, upholstery, appliances, lighting, flooring, wall panels; finding and liaising with suppliers of bespoke furniture, bespoke kitchen/utility room cabinets, bespoke worktop/bar table, windows blinds, stair runners; handling logistics of delivery, storage, and assembly. Elaine’s design is very attached to us. She was spot on with the first proposal. In case modifications were inevitable due to sourcing issue or architectural change, Elaine could always provide us alternatives while maintaining the coherent design that we liked. We can pick individual colour/any interior item that we like but putting them together is a different story. Elaine does the tricks for us!”
